Your customer may never see a results page
Someone wants a supplier, a studio, a clinic. They used to type it into Google and scan ten blue links. Increasingly they ask an assistant instead, and the assistant answers in a paragraph. That paragraph names two or three businesses. If you are not one of them, you were not beaten in the rankings. You were never in the room.
This is a different problem from ranking, and it needs different work. Ranking rewards authority and keywords. AI answers reward something closer to being quotable: a clear claim, stated plainly, in a structure a machine can lift without ambiguity. A page can rank well and still never get cited, because everything specific about it is buried in a paragraph of throat-clearing.
What GEO and AEO actually mean
Generative engine optimisation and answer engine optimisation are the practice of making your content usable by systems that answer rather than list. The two terms overlap heavily and people use them interchangeably. What matters is the job: being the source an assistant reaches for when someone asks about your category.
What classic SEO rewards
- Backlinks and domain authority
- Keyword coverage and search volume
- Click-through from a results page
- Competing for a position in a list
What AI answers reward
- Claims stated once, clearly, near the top
- Specific facts: prices, dates, places, numbers
- Structure a parser can follow without guessing
- Consistency across everywhere you appear
These are not opposites, and you should not trade one for the other. Most of the work that makes a page quotable also makes it a better page for a human reader, which is usually a sign the work is real rather than a trick.
The thing most sites get wrong
Vagueness. A homepage that says it delivers world-class solutions across the ecosystem gives an assistant nothing to repeat. A homepage that says it roasts small batches every Tuesday in Quezon City and delivers by Thursday gives it a sentence it can quote directly. The second version is also just better writing, which is the point.
The second common failure is contradiction. Your website says one thing, your LinkedIn says another, a directory listing from 2023 says a third. Assistants weigh consistency, and a business that describes itself three different ways is a business they will hedge on or skip.
What we do
- Find out what they already say about youBefore changing anything, we ask the assistants directly. What comes back when someone asks about your category, your city, your competitors? Sometimes the answer is nothing. Sometimes it is something wrong that has been repeating for a year.
- Fix the claimsWe rewrite the sentences that describe what you do, so each one is specific, checkable and short enough to quote. This is the part that looks like editing and is actually positioning.
- Structure for machines and humansHeadings that match real questions, answers that come before the elaboration, schema markup so the facts are labelled rather than inferred, and internal links that make the relationships obvious.
- Build the pages that answer questionsAssistants cite sources that address a question directly. We write those pages, in your voice, on the topics your buyers actually ask about.
- Make your presence consistentSame description, same specifics, wherever you appear. Directories, listings, profiles, third-party mentions.
- Check again, and keep checkingWe re-run the questions monthly. AI visibility moves, and the only honest way to report on it is to keep asking.
Nobody can guarantee an AI citation. There is no submission form, no ranking dashboard, no lever to pull. What we can do is remove every reason a model would skip you, then measure what changes. Any agency promising guaranteed AI placement is selling something that does not exist yet.
What you get
Every month
- Answer-first articles on the questions your buyers ask
- Schema and structure work across new and existing pages
- A re-run of the assistant checks, with what moved
- On-page SEO, because blue links still matter
Once, at the start
- A baseline of what assistants currently say about you
- A rewrite of your core claims
- The three fixes we would make first, and why
- A plain-language read on where you stand
That is the Tier 1 founding rate, held for a new client's first three months. Higher tiers add brand strategy, social, website work and paid ads, and are quoted after the audit because what you need depends on what the audit finds.
no setup fee, no lock-in ✎Who this is for
Businesses in a category people ask questions about. Professional services, B2B software, clinics, studios, suppliers, anything where a buyer researches before they commit. If your customers find you by walking past, this is not your priority and we will say so.
It works best alongside content rather than instead of it. There is no structural trick that makes a thin site quotable; the fastest route to being cited is usually to be genuinely useful about something specific, then make that easy to lift.
